2017 Auset

Aloha Daughters of the Goddess,

Many blessings of thanks as we are in the season of Thanks, Joy and Peace.  I hope you are finding a comfortable place to be with loved ones, and to also find some contemplative space to relax.  We’ve danced the Spiral, celebrated Laksmi and prayed on the Harvest.  Now we come to offer ourselves to Auset also known as Isis.  This is also a Full Moon ritual so bring your wishes.  Please notice for those of you who have requested some Saturday rituals, this is for you!

Offer your presence to the Power of the Temple Throne and the Throne of Auset.  We will explore the dynamics through magick and ritual of womyn to womyn power dynamics.  How can we rise up and overcome those things we have been taught about one another?  As we reflect on the past year of the missed opportunity of having a Chiefess for the US, how do we hold within ourselves our relations with the idea of women in power, leadership, and in positions of authority.  How do we move from the idea of the Godhead, both in the world as well as in our personal lives, to the embracing of the Goddesshead.  On this Full Moon, how can we illuminate those places within ourselves which can help to greatly transform how we move the Sacred Feminine forward in our lives and the world.  Join Her altar and Feel Her power and magick.

Auset-Isis is known as: “Great Mother,” The “Tender Mother,” “personification of femininity”, “Immaculate Virgin,” to whom women prayed for forgiveness.  “Our Lady,” the “Queen of Heaven,” “Star of the Sea,” and “Mother of God” were other titles associated with Her.

Bring any images of women who have greatly impacted your life for the altar.  Also any images of Isis, Auset or any of Her forms.  Bring a gold or white candle.  Also please bring an entree for the Feast.

Please see our participation page for more information on attending our ceremonies and to RSVP.
