2020 Fall Equinox

Aloha Daughters of the Goddess;

For years now we have had a small pop-up shop that we put out at every in-person ritual.  It has traveled to festivals, workshops, and pilgrimages that we have facilitated.  Not only has it been a wonderful way to support the temple, it is also a great way to make available items that are special, spiritual and sometimes just plain fun or beautiful.  We also have made it part of our mission to support Fair Trade and projects that support women & children.  We have divination decks, tarot cards, pareos, oils, Alaffia & Women’s Bean project items, jewelry, books, palo santo sticks, stones.  The list goes on.  In our continuing effort to keep the temple going we have decided to put up our pop-up shop from Tuesday evening September 22nd at the ritual thru Sunday September 27th and will schedule appointments spaced out to keep things safe and clean for all.  We would love to have you come by and say hi, and to shop and support our temple.  If your interested please contact Kahuna Leilani at Leilani@DaughtersoftheGoddess.com to make an appointment.

Fall Equinox a time for celebrating the harvest and all of the abundance of life, from fruits and vegetables to our own accomplishments.  It is also a time of equal light and darkness with a balance that enables us to see into both.  With all of the things going on these days it can be hard to see the light, sometimes literally thru all of the smoke.  But there is light at the end of the tunnel.  In order to reach that fertile place we need to tend to ourselves, and our gardens, in order to have the sustenance both physical and spiritual to make it there.  Pomona can help us with this.  She is a Roman Goddess of fruit trees, orchards, and gardens/farms and how to tend to them to make them fruitful and abundant.  Her symbols are the pruning knife and gardening tools.  She teaches us how to tend to our gardens both spiritual and physical.

This will be a smaller in person ritual so that we can keep things safe.  Make sure that you bring your masks.   Please rsvp as soon as you can to reserve your space.  Also for the altar please bring a green candle in a jar, something from the harvest – especially bring something from your garden if you have it, any images of Pomona or smaller garden tools.

Please see our participation page for more information on attending our ceremonies.
